How long does the PPF installation process take?
The installation time can vary depending on the coverage area. Generally, it can take between a few hours to a full day for complete coverage.
What tools are needed for PPF installation?
Common tools include a squeegee, spray bottle with soapy water, heat gun, and a sharp cutting blade. Professional installers may use specialized tools for precise application.
Can PPF be installed on complex curves and edges?

Is it necessary to hire a professional for PPF installation?

What if bubbles form under the PPF during installation?
If bubbles form under the PPF, use a squeegee to gently push the bubbles towards the edges of the film. If the bubbles are persistent or caused by dust particles, the affected area may need to be lifted, cleaned, and reapplied. Additionally, most bubbles should resolve themselves one week after installation as moisture evaporates from underneath the surface of the PPF.
What if the PPF does not adhere properly to the vehicle surface?
If the PPF is not adhering properly, ensure the surface is thoroughly cleaned and free of any contaminants. Reapply the slip solution (soapy water) to the adhesive side of the film and the vehicle surface, then reposition and squeegee out the solution. If adhesion issues persist, consider using a tack solution to increase adhesion.
